"As Vermont’s hospitals wrap up the fiscal year 2027 hospital budget regulatory process, I’d like to provide an update on the work VAHHS and our hospitals are doing to make health care more transparent and affordable for Vermonters. Before I dive in, I’d like to first acknowledge the hard work by all involved, including the Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB) members and staff, as well as the teams in our hospitals who spend thousands of hours building these budgets, responding to questions and presenting their cases before the GMCB. "
