The City of Monticello is currently experiencing power outages affecting Person Street and surrounding areas.

Our Electric Department is actively working to restore power and anticipates service being restored within the next four to six hours.

The City of Monticello is currently experiencing power outages affecting Honeysuckle Road and neighboring streets, as well as Martin Luther King Drive and surrounding areas.

Our Electric Department is actively working to restore power and anticipates service being restored within the next 30 minutes to 1 hour.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to safely restore power. Please continue to exercise caution and stay safe.

💧 WATER MAIN BREAK – MADDUX STREET 💧

Please be advised that crews are currently working to repair a water main break on Maddux Street.

🚰 Areas currently without water include:
• Honeysuckle Street
• Maddux Street
• Magnolia Street
• Poplar Street
• Portions of College Street

🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY: One lane of Maddux Street is currently closed while repairs are underway. Crews will need to excavate approximately 70–80 feet of roadway to access and repair the damaged water main.

⏰ There is currently no estimated time for water service to be restored.

Please use caution if traveling through the area and allow crews plenty of room to work.
