Happy Friday!!!
I sincerely apologize for the adjustments to the parade and festival schedule. Following a recent meeting, it was brought to the Sheriff’s attention that the Juneteenth Festival and Shadydale rodeo events coincide on the same day. To ensure the safety and fairness of both celebrations, and to accommodate the presence of the sheriff for both parades, I have made changes to the Juneteenth parade and festival times. The parade lineup will now start up at 10:30 am, with the parade itself starting promptly at 12 noon. Following the parade, the festival will commence immediately afterward. Commissioner Jones believes in collaboration and doing what's best for all, and I appreciate your understanding in this matter. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. God Bless!!!!❤️
