Monticello Community School District is almost out,and we are gearing up for our highly anticipated Summer Reading Program!!! Ms. Penny has been working hard at gathering prizes for participants, so if any local businesses are wanting to encourage our members, be sure to reach out soon! Our official start date is June First for registration, we will be posting activities soon, but logs will not be available until the start date. We know all the kids are excited, but please be patient with us since there are always so many wonderful participants every year! There is also a handful of Storywalks that will be going out this summer, these encourage kids to get out in our City of Monticello - IA Parks & Recreation and be active! If you would like to sponsor one of these great books, stop on in and we can show you all the amazing choices.
We also couldn't do anything that we do with all the amazing help from Friends of the Monticello Public Library - Ross & Elizabeth Baty for sponsoring the amazing line up of performers that are coming this year... so stay tuned!
