🦖 If dinosaurs had library cards… what books AND movies do you think they’d check out first? 🎬📚

To celebrate our 2026 Summer Reading Program, “Unearth a Story,” we’re sharing some dino-sized favorites straight from the shelves at Monticello Branch Library! From exciting dinosaur books to prehistoric movie adventures, there’s something for every future paleontologist this summer. 🌋🦴

Our Summer Reading Kick-Off is June 13th from 11 AM - 1 PM, and registration is officially OPEN!

Learning, creating, and exploring every week with Brittany’s Bright Little Learners! 🌱✈️🎨🔬

This fun S.T.E.A.M. program for ages Pre-K to 6 years old gives kids the chance to learn through hands-on activities, crafts, experiments, and interactive lessons on exciting topics like plants, aviation, and more!

We also offer Brittany’s S.T.E.A.M. Team for ages 6 to 12, giving older kids even more opportunities to explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through fun activities and creative learning. 📚✨

Learn a skill that could save a life ❤️
Join us at the Monticello Branch Library on Monday, June 1 from 1:30–2:30 p.m. for a free Hands-Only CPR class through Libraries with Heart and the American Heart Association.
This easy-to-learn program will teach the simple two-step process of Hands-Only CPR and help build confidence in responding during an emergency. Open to all. No registration required!
