VCYFCL is proud to announce that Coach BJ Antonelli will be returning to the sidelines as the Head Coach for D2 Football for the 2026 season!

Entering his fifth season with VCYFCL, Coach BJ brings a lifetime of football experience and a deep connection to the program. Having grown up playing football right here in VCYFCL, he now has the opportunity to give back by coaching the next generation of athletes in the same league that helped shape his own love for the game.

A former Valley Central Viking, Coach BJ went on to continue his football career at the collegiate level, playing Division I football at Iona College. Off the field, he is a physical education teacher who is passionate about working with kids, teaching the value of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship while serving as a positive role model for every player.

Coach BJ is excited to reunite with the talented core of the 2024 D2 team that earned a trip to the Super Bowl. With high expectations and a determined group of athletes, he is looking forward to another successful season and hopes to bring home the championship trophy in 2026!

VCYFCL is proud to announce that Coach Jessica Woodson will return to the sidelines as Head Coach for D3 Cheer for the 2026 season.

Jessica’s passion for cheerleading began at just seven years old with VCYFCL, where her parents were founding members. She went on to spend more than a decade as a dedicated cheerleader, building a strong foundation in skill, discipline, and love for the sport.

Since stepping into a coaching role in 2018, Coach Jessica has focused on developing confident, well-rounded athletes while emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship. In addition to leading the D3 squad, she brings valuable experience from her role as the VCHS JV Cheer Coach, where she continues to mentor and develop student-athletes at a competitive level.

Coach Jessica is committed to fostering a positive, structured environment where athletes can grow both on and off the mat. She emphasizes the importance of teamwork, trust, and respect, while running organized, focused practices that set clear expectations and help every athlete reach their full potential.
