Under Age, Under Arrest has a busy schedule for September and October. The ABC Board's Rusty Glover will lead a program tomorrow at Athens Bible School in Limestone County featuring two parents who lost sons to drunk-driving crashes.

Under Age, Under Arrest will be at four high schools this week -- at Berry High School in Fayette and South Choctaw Academy in Toxey on Wednesday, at Spring Garden High School on Thursday, and at Lauderdale County High School in Rogersville on Friday. Under Age, Under Arrest was at Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School in Montgomery on Wednesday. Montgomery County Chief Deputy DA Azzie Taylor joined MADD's Carolyn Tyus, SBI Agent Fred Hutcherson and the ABC Board's Daniel Dye in warning students of the dangers of alcohol.

Laura Liveoak of MADD and State Trooper Reginal King were featured speakers at today's Under Age, Under Arrest program at Pickens Academy in Carrollton. Mrs. Liveoak's daughter, Marlena, was killed by an impaired driver in 2018. Dean Argo of the ABC Board emceed the program.

Under Age, Under Arrest was at Dora High School in Walker County this morning. Joyce Jones of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and Special Agent Mike O'Rear of the State Bureau of Investigations joined the ABC Board's Dean Argo in warning students of the dangers of alcohol and underage drinking. Jones' son Marcus, who was a basketball star at Walker High School and Tuskegee University, was killed by a drunk driver.

Under Age, Under Arrest took its underage program to Chilton County's PASS Academy on Tuesday. Speakers included Jemison's Laura Liveoak of MADD, whose daughter Marlena was killed by a drunk driver in 2018; Assistant District Attorney Chris Cleckley; SBI Special Agent Fred Hutcherson; and Dean Argo of the ABC Board. Mrs. Liveoak's mother, Marlene Hayes, also attended. A special thanks to Principal Laura Baker and staff, including Celia Flanagan and LaQuira Baker.
