Water Main and Hydrant Flushing Notice:

Montgomery Water will be flushing fire hydrants during the week of April 13-17th, 2026.

During and shortly after this process, residents may experience temporarily discolored water and lower water pressure. The discolored water is harmless and is caused by mineral deposits and sediment being cleared from the water lines.

Update: Service has been restored.

Attention Town of Montgomery Water Customers. We are aware of a water line break on the west side of town. Any customers west of tho bank will be affected. Jeremy and Gress’s are actively working the situation. We do not see it being off for an extended period of time.

Please be advised that the intersection of Myers Street & U.S. Hwy 50 and 50 N & U.S. Hwy 50 will be temporarily closed to through traffic beginning on or around Tuesday, October 14, 2025. The closure will remain in effect for the duration of our current sewer construction project which is expected to be about a week.

UPDATE: Water connection has been restored. Customers may experience low water pressure and some discoloration as our system catches back up.

Montgomery Water Customers….a construction crew hit a water main in the vicinity of Highway 50, causing water issues for customers west of the bank. Repairs are underway, but the timing is unknown at this time. I will post updates as they become available.

Town of Montgomery water customers south of Hwy 50, we are currently working on a water leak issue at the Viking Wash and your water will be shut off for a short period of time
