“WELL”COME Wednesday‼️⚽️
The high school’s STRONG student leadership team would like to thank the Montgomery Varsity Girls’ Soccer team for agreeing to “WELL”COME our elementary students to school this morning.
The STRONG team will continue “WELL”COME mornings throughout the school year as part of their wellness initiative that aims to help students meet the day with a positive mindset and encouraging environment. The team will be inviting clubs, athletic teams, and arts organizations to participate and allow younger students to see the “big kids” in team and club uniforms, further encouraging them to find role models they can connect to.
The STRONG student leadership team stands for Self-driven, Tolerant, Resilient, Optimistic, Nice, and Giving. The students involved work to address school positivity through various school incentives and are in the development phase of a peer mentoring program. The STRONG team recognizes that they cannot fix every issue but will never stop trying to show Montgomery students how amazing it is to be a Raider!
