Monday night Calera Post 131 honored three local high school seniors with highly deserved scholarships at the Calera City Council meeting. Services for Gordon Seale will be at Brown service funeral home in Bessemer on Thursday, visitation from 12 to 1 o'clock and funeral service will be at 1 o'clock.

The American Legion Training Tuesday virtual session this month will discuss how American Legion leaders can work effectively with local partners to organize events that are successful and aligned with the Legion’s mission and values.
Attendees will receive tools that can be used immediately at the post and district level.
