🇺🇸DON’T WAIT TO ASK FOR HELP❤️

We often meet Service Members, Family Members, and Veterans who waited until they were in a desperate situation before reaching out. Please don’t wait.

When you miss that first paycheck, when the bills start piling up, when you’re feeling overwhelmed, or when you’re just not doing well, reach out to us.

Our dedicated team of 11 Military & Family Readiness Specialists at 10 locations across Alabama is here to help. They will work tirelessly to connect you with the resources and support you need. Give them the opportunity to help before a small problem becomes a crisis.

The sooner you reach out, the more time our team has to work with you, explore options, make connections, and help get you where you need to be.

Our MFRS team recently completed their annual training and is even more prepared to serve you. Helping Service Members, Families, and Veterans is what they love to do. ❤️

Don’t wait until you’re desperate. Don’t hesitate to reach out when the going gets tough.

💜September is Su***de Prevention Month🩵

September is a reminder that every life matters, every conversation matters, and asking for help is a sign of strength.

Military life can bring unique challenges for Service Members, Families, and Veterans. Deployments, transitions, relationship challenges, financial stress, isolation, and the demands of balancing military and civilian life can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Know the signs. Start the conversation. Be there for one another.

🗣️ Ask how someone is really doing
👂 Listen without judgment
❤️ Let them know they are not alone
🤝 Encourage them to reach out for support
📞 Take every concern seriously

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available 24/7.

Call or text 988, then press 1 for the Veterans Crisis Line.

🇺🇸 POST DEPLOYMENT YRRP: RECONNECT. RECHARGE. REINTEGRATE. 🇺🇸

We had a wonderful Post Deployment Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) event this weekend! ❤️💙

YRRP is an important opportunity for Service Members and their Families to reconnect, receive valuable resources, and learn about the support available to them after deployment. We do this because reintegration is a process, and no one should have to navigate it alone.

From our amazing vendors and outstanding speakers to a fantastic event space, this weekend was filled with information, connection, and support! 🙌

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this event a success, especially our vendors, speakers, staff, and most importantly, the Service Members and Families who participated.

Welcome home, reconnect with your people, and remember, Family Programs is here to support you every step of the way! 🇺🇸❤️💙

There’s still time to participate!

If you haven’t completed the survey yet, we encourage you to take just a few minutes to share your thoughts. Your input helps us identify needs, improve existing programs, and develop new resources that better support our Service Members and their Families.
