CSX to Close N. Court Street at N. Railroad Street for Emergency Railway Work
MONTGOMERY, Ala. — CSX will close the intersection of North Court Street and North Railroad Street will temporarily to through traffic beginning at approximately 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 2, for emergency railway work.
The closure will affect North Court Street in both directions and North Railroad Street in both directions at the intersection. No through traffic will be permitted while work is underway.
The closure is expected to last up to two days. Signed detours will be in place to direct motorists around the work area.
Drivers traveling through the area should plan for additional travel time, follow posted detour signs and use caution near the work zone.
The City of Montgomery appreciates motorists’ patience and cooperation while this emergency work is completed.
