Sudden shifts in mood, declining grades, withdrawing from friends, trouble sleeping, or fear of certain places or people can be signs that something is wrong.

While these changes don't always indicate abuse, they are opportunities to ask questions, listen without judgment, and offer support.

Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, and believed.

Ask your child:
⭐ Who are five adults you could go to if you needed help?
⭐ Who would you call if you couldn't reach me?
Knowing who to turn to helps children feel safe and supported, both at school and at home.

Together, we can create a community where every child has someone they trust.

📚✏️ As a new school year begins, it's a great time to talk with your child about safety.

Simple conversations can make a big difference:
💙 Remind them that their body belongs to them.
💙 Let them know they can say "no" to unwanted touches.
💙 Identify trusted adults they can talk to if something doesn't feel right.
💙 Reassure them they will never be in trouble for telling the truth.

Creating an environment where children feel safe to speak up is one of the most powerful ways to help prevent abuse.
