We ❤️ our cafeteria crew! They are the BEST!

🐻 Lincoln Bears – Let’s Meet Your Cafeteria Team! 🐻
This week, we’re excited to introduce the wonderful cafeteria team at Lincoln Elementary! ❤️
These amazing team members work hard every day to serve our students and staff, always dishing up good food and plenty of smiles. 🍎🥪😊 Say hello to the team!
👩‍🍳 Karmary, our Cafeteria Manager, has been with MISD for almost three years. She’s proud to be from Puerto Rico and loves to dance and listen to all kinds of music!
🏔️ Martha has been with MISD for over nine years. She loves the beautiful Tennessee Smoky Mountains and hopes to retire there someday. She’s also a big NASCAR fan! 🏁
🐷 Rhonda has been with MISD for three years and has a unique collection—she collects flying pigs! 🐷✈️
🐔 Tara has been with MISD for two years and loves raising chickens. She currently has seven chickens at home!
🚛 Teresa is the newest member of the team and has been with MISD for a month (Welcome Teresa!!). She’s working toward obtaining her CDL license, so keep an eye out—you may see her on the road soon! 👀
🦩 Katie is part of our Manager-in-Training program and is spending this month at Lincoln Elementary. She is starting her 5th year with MISD, and we’ve learned that she has a love and knowledge for all things music … and flamingos! 🎶🦩

🌟 STAFF SPOTLIGHT: MRS. BETH BUSH! 🌟

This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Mrs. Beth Bush, our 3rd Grade Math & Science teacher! 💜💛

With 16 years in education and six years at Lincoln, Mrs. Bush brings experience, high expectations, and a fantastic sense of humor to our campus. She loves seeing students grow in both their skills and confidence—and works hard to make sure her classroom is a place where learning is challenging, encouraging, and fun.

When she’s not making math make sense, you might find Mrs. Bush enjoying a road trip, cheering on Texas Tech, grabbing some Tex-Mex and a Dr Pepper, or catching up on the latest true-crime case. 😄

We are so grateful for the laughter, dedication, and heart Mrs. Bush brings to Team Lincoln. We love having her as one of our Lincoln Bears! 🐻💜💛

Montgomery ISD is exploring the interest level in an At-Home Learning Option to determine whether the District should pursue this opportunity for students and families.
We want your input. The survey will help us understand the level of interest and what would be most important to families, from academics and scheduling to athletics, extracurricular activities, and hands-on learning opportunities.
The survey is open to MISD families and community members, including those who live outside the MISD attendance boundaries.
