Getting older comes with its own set of challenges, and Tina Fey is no stranger to them.

She was working on her series “The Four Seasons” while living the very midlife pressures the show explores: caring for an older parent, raising children, grieving a loss and watching a child leave home.

It’s a reality she and about 16 million other people share as sandwich generation caregivers, supporting both an adult and a child at the same time.

What a fantastic evening at our first ADU Townhall!

We had a great turnout and even better conversations. Residents came ready with thoughtful questions, ideas, and feedback about Accessory Dwelling Units and the future of housing in Birmingham. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us and share your perspective!
