Congratulations to the 2026 Tri State Financial Literacy Scholarship Recipients!

Catskill Farms owner, Charles Petersheim, is helping local students build strong money management habits for the future. Recently, eight Delaware Valley High School seniors participated in a financial literacy seminar and were each awarded a $1,250 scholarship after completing the program.

As Charles shared, “Financial awareness and developing good habits are key ingredients to a good life, it’s helpful to start building those habits early. This seminar gives the kids some helpful tips to augment whatever they are learning at home and school.”

This scholarship reflects a commitment to investing in students not only through financial support, but also through practical knowledge that can help prepare them for lifelong success. Thank you to Charles Petersheim for his continued dedication to empowering the next generation through education, financial literacy, and philanthropy!

Created by Junior League of Orange County, NY, Inc., this scholarship recognizes graduating high school seniors who lead with purpose, serve their communities, and inspire positive change through volunteerism, school involvement, and community initiatives.

This week for we're spotlighting the G&D Schoolhouse Special Education Preschool Fund, which joined CFOSR in April 2026.

G&D Schoolhouse serves students across Sullivan, Delaware, Ulster, and Orange Counties, providing a full school program that includes special education services as well as speech, occupational, and physical therapy, and counseling.
