Public safety goes beyond physical security.

At the 94th Winter Meeting of the United States Conference of Mayors, Civint joined city leaders from across the country to explore how communities can combat the growing threat of financial scams.

The panel—moderated by Tampa Mayor Jane Castor and featuring Tulsa Mayor Monroe Nichols and Wells Fargo’s John Durrant—offered practical strategies for protecting vulnerable residents and strengthening public-private partnerships.

We’re proud to serve on USCM’s Business Council and support mayors as they work to safeguard their communities.

As a member of USCM’s Business Council, Civint was represented by CEO Sam Johnson and COO Rania Jamison, continuing our long-standing commitment to helping cities navigate complex infrastructure challenges through well-structured public-private partnerships.

February is Black History Month, a time to reflect on the enduring impact of Black leadership in our cities and communities. From trailblazing mayors who opened doors to those building more equitable cities today, Black municipal leaders have played a vital role in shaping local government, public infrastructure, and civic life. We honor their legacy and the ongoing work that continues to move our communities forward.
