A couple of our officers will be enjoying their day off fishing in the Wallkill by the Pleasure Grounds pavilion on Sunday July 19th from 8am-12pm.

Sit with us and enjoy a couple hours of fishing.

Don’t know how to fish or don’t have gear? We’ll have some extra poles set and ready to go!

The Village of Montgomery DARE program would like to extend a huge thank you to the following local businesses for their donations to the 4th annual DARE graduation dance. The graduates were able to enjoy pizza, donated from Cascarino’s Pizzeria, Carmela’s restaurant, and Antonio’s Family Restaurant. Also bottled water, cupcakes, plates and napkins by ShopRite of Montgomery! All of the donations were picked up by our very own Daren the Lion!

Please know that we take these concerns seriously and will make every effort to mitigate these actions. We do ask that residents contact the PD with any concerns so we can organize directed patrols where needed. In an emergency always contact 911. Coordination with residents is our best tool in keeping this village safe.

Congratulations to Officer Lloyd for graduating the Orange County Correctional Officer’s academy. We are proud of his unwavering dedication to law enforcement.

Officer Lloyd has been a staple in the Montgomery Elementary School over the years as the department’s main SRO. We look forward to him continuing his work for us while he takes on this new challenge. Please join us in wishing him the best in his new career.

MES DARE students were treated to the Hudson Valley Renegade’s education day game. We all had a blast. Some students even left with a foul baseball!
