❄️🚧❄️CITY SNOW PLOWS OFF ROADS AT 3:30 TODAY❄️🚧❄️
City plows will be done plowing today, Friday, January 12th at 3:30 p.m. They will resume their snow-removal efforts Saturday morning. The snow is still falling and winds are causing drifting. Roads could become extremely difficult to pass through. If you do not need to leave home, please DON’T!! Stay safe!! ❄️🚧❄️

Snow Ordinance Reminder: ALL vehicles must be moved off public streets, alleys & parking to allow for effective snow removal. Plows make multiple passes in order to clear the accumulated snow. Vehicles should not be moved back onto public parking, streets or alleys until the snow has ceased to fall & has been removed. This last snow event has left the City with an abundance of snow & it is important to leave a clear path for our plow drivers to be able to move the incoming snow. Please make your best effort to help reduce any obstacles in their way.
More snow is coming in with blizzard-like winds causing below- freezing temps & wind chills along with reduced visibility. Prepare & plan ahead in order to be able to stay home safe & warm. 🚧❄️🚧

**SNOW REMOVAL ANNOUNCEMENT** The City plows will be pulled off the city streets today at 5:00 p.m. The snow is still coming down and the winds are picking up. Our guys are dealing with zero visibility which can lead to disastrous results. Please stay off the roads if you can. Stay safe. Stay warm. 🚧❄️🚧❄️🚧

Colin Watts has officially been sworn in as the Mayor of the City of Montezuma. Colin has held a seat on the council for the past four years and replaces former mayor, Jacki Bolen. Please make sure to thank Jacki for her dedicated service to the community and welcome Colin as he takes on his new role with the city.
