Sitting here thinking about the last few days tonight. There is a lot of thoughts running through our heads. We have been thanked and prayed for which we all really appreciate. Words can’t describe the amount of support that has came in. One thing that hit me tonight was the wives of the firefighters. These great ladies hold down our families when we are gone for long periods of time. They worry and still have to take care of the everyday things. These ladies are the heroes behind us firefighters. Without their support being a firefighter would be impossible. So I wanted to give all the fire wives a huge shoutout. Thank you all for the continuous support and keeping the home life together. So if you see a fire wife or know one tell them thank you. Because they are the rock at home holding our home life together. Thank you fire wives. Your commitment to us and our community doesn’t go unnoticed.

First responder families don’t just support the mission —
they live it.

Every missed dinner.
Every late-night prayer.
Every missed milestone.
Every “text me when you can.”

That’s love standing watch at home.

Keep standing watch — it matters more than you know. ❤️

The guys got back at 5pm yesterday with everyone safe and sound. It was a long night but thanks to many people for supporting us and keeping everyone going. We apologize if we leave anyone out but know we appreciate you, thank you to FSP for the additional water truck that was much needed! Tanner Dirks also brought multiple loads with a spray trailer of water for everyone. Our fire wives brought food and supplies as well as Brianna’s Cafe for donating lunches! Meade residents and businesses for food, drinks and supplies. Integrity Bank donated cases of water. Big thank you to all the departments far and wide that came to help that we got to run with. To all the people asking for our needs and donating items to our department, thank you so much! We appreciate each and every one of you! I will post videos in a separate post 🔥

The guys are still down south assisting Meade County, they have been there all night helping out. Meade had an evacuation this morning but with all the help from many departments they were able to contain the large fire and the residents were able to return home. Thank you for the prayers, strength, safety, protection and rain are still needed!

This evening with the thunderstorm rolling thru we had 3 fires started by lightening. 1 north of Montezuma and 2 south of Ensign. We were able to get them under control quickly thanks to the rain and multiple departments. We would like to thank Ford county FD, Fowler FD, Minneola FD, Cimmaron FD, Ingalls FD, and CopelandFD. Thanks to everyone quick response and help today.
