A graphic circulating online claiming VA is offering free athletic shoes from major brands has been identified as a scam by the VA national office, as well as our Whole Health program.

Athletic shoes through VA are not available through online offers, brand-selection links, promotional emails or third-party sign-ups.

Shoes are only available by prescription for Veterans with diabetes or to accommodate an orthopedic condition. VA only provides shoes that are medically required.

Veterans should not click suspicious links, enter personal information or provide payment details in response to these posts or messages.

A Women Veterans town hall meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 5 p.m., in Bldg. 4 room 180 of the St. Cloud VA Medical Center, located at 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, Minnesota.

The meeting is held exclusively for Women Veterans and is intended as a safe space for Women Veterans to discuss their unique healthcare needs and services with St. Cloud VA officials.

The meeting provides women Veterans the chance to hear from and have concerns addressed by St. Cloud VA officials.
