🚧 🚧 Regarding next week 🚧 🚧
Beginning Tuesday September 8 at approximately 4 am, one lane of travel on Hwy 10 will be closed starting at the intersection of Hwy 22 up to the water tower. It will be the westbound lane (coming from montevallo).

This will be for September 8th and September 9th.

A detailed map is being provided below.

Please use caution when traveling in this area.

If by chance anyone has borrowed one of our construction barrels that were placed near the intersectoin of Hwy 10 abd Hwy 22 we would like to get that back. We are starting the process to get our new station driveway finished and need these to block off access to the station.

Our portion of Shelby County has been placed under a severe thunderstorm warning until 10:30 pm.

If severe weather hits our area and there are trees down we ask everyone to stay off the roads to let our responders work to get them reopened.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!

We would like to extend a big thank you to DripDrop and the National Volunteer Fire Council for providing our fire department with 1-2 cases of DripDrop hydration packs. Our department was one of 1,000 chosen nationwide to receive this donation. This product will provide our members with the much-needed electrolytes required when responding to calls involving fire or prolonged exposure to extreme heat.
