The intersection of Hwy 10 & Hwy 22 is currently closed due to a motor vehicle accident and will be for a significant amount of time. Please avoid the area and let first responders work safely.

With dry conditions, low relative humidity, and breezy conditions please do not burn anything outside until the area receives measurable rain falls.

SECTION 9-13-11 of the 1975 code of Alabama

It shall be a Class B misdemeanor for any person, firm, association, or corporation:
Who allows a fire to escape from land owned, leased, or controlled by him or her, whereby any property of another is injured or destroyed

If you burn under the current conditions and your fire gets out of control and damages another person's property you can be held responsible for those damages.
