🍎📚This week, some of our teachers represented MHS at the Louisiana Teacher Leader Summit 2026 in New Orleans! We are so proud to have educators from multiple grade levels and content areas learning, collaborating, and bringing back innovative ideas to help our students succeed.

Their dedication to continuous growth is just one of the many reasons our Wolves continue to ✨THRIVE✨! We can’t wait to see how the knowledge and inspiration gained at impacts our classrooms this year! 🤩💡💜🧡🩵

💡Classroom Spotlight: Mrs.Tara’s SS Class

“Readers Theatre” to bring Social Studies to life! 🇺🇸📜

Students performed the signing of the U.S. Constitution, with everyone playing an important role. Some students acted out parts, some worked on the set crew, others participated as audience members, and a few even ran the concession stand! Serving popcorn, drinks, and movie candy! 🍿

She made learning about the creation of our nation’s government fun and memorable, especially since this can be a challenging topic for 6th graders.

A HUGE “THANK YOU” to our Educators Rising Club members and their parents for showing their appreciation during the “12 Days” of LEAP Testing! They went above and beyond by providing breakfast and lunch for their teachers everyday of testing.

🎉 FIELD DAY is almost here! 🎉

Jr. High & High School students will celebrate Field Day TOMORROW!!🏃‍♀️☀️

Lunch and sno-cones will be provided 🍔🍧

👕 Students are welcome to wear a spirit shirt with shorts! 🩳 Please make sure shorts are school appropriate in both length and style, as “Soffe” style athletic shorts will not be permitted.

📌Students who arrive in inappropriate attire may be assigned to the detention room until appropriate clothing is provided or brought to them. Thank you for helping us keep everyone dress code ready! 😊
