Early September Rain: Frontal Boundary Crossing Northern California 🌧️☔
An unseasonably early frontal boundary is approaching Northern California today, bringing periods of light rain to the Bay Area and North Bay!
Rainfall Totals Over the Past 24 Hours:
North Bay Coastal Ranges: The highest totals so far, picking up between 0.25" and 0.50" of rainfall.
Sonoma & Marin Valleys: Lighter amounts, generally under 0.15".
South of the Golden Gate: As the front moves south, rainfall will taper off significantly, with most areas expecting totals generally less than 0.05".
