Celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week!
This week is National Friends of Libraries Week, and we couldn't let it pass without recognizing TWO incredible groups that help make our library system what it is today!
Behind every great library is a group of dedicated people who believe in its mission, and we are incredibly fortunate to have TWO amazing Friends groups supporting our library system!
A HUGE thank you to the Putnam County Library Friends and the Friends of the Monterey Branch Library for always being the backbone of our library system!
Whether it's supporting programs, helping with special events, fundraising, or stepping up whenever there's a need, our Friends groups are always willing to lend a helping hand. Their generosity, dedication, and commitment make a difference not only for our libraries but also for the communities we serve. Libraries are more than just books and buildings. They are places where people come together to learn, connect, and grow. Our Friends groups help make that possible!
We want both groups to know that your hard work NEVER goes unnoticed. We see it, we appreciate it, and we are truly grateful for everything you do! Thank you for being our biggest supporters, our helping hands, and an essential part of our library family! 💙
