May is Mental Health Awareness Month. At Nature for All, we recognize the important role nature plays in supporting mental health and well-being. Access to nature can help reduce stress, improve physical health, and create spaces for people to connect with themselves, their communities, and the outdoors. During our programs and trips, many participants share that spending time in nature gives them a meaningful break from the fast pace of city life.

“Participating in this event brought a deep sense of joy and enjoyment to my day. It was truly a delightful experience for my kids; they were absolutely thrilled and had an amazing time. We discovered so many new things together that expanded our horizons and sparked our curiosity..” – All Aboard for Nature Participant

We remain committed to increasing access to nature and the many benefits it provides for our communities.

• Agua potable y recursos naturales
• Justicia ambiental y salud comunitaria
• Cómo involucrarse y organizarse localmente
• Oportunidades para visitar las montañas y espacios naturales

Las clases van a estar en español y todos los miembros de la comunidad son bienvenidos.

📢 Want to help protect our public lands?

Nature for All and coalition partners invite you to attend the LA Roadless Rule Town Hall on May 18th. The U.S. Forest Service is proposing to roll back the Roadless Area Conservation Rule (also known as the Roadless Rule) while limiting public input in the process. Rescinding the Roadless Rule would open nearly 60 million acres of national forest to logging, mining, and other extractive purposes--with negative impacts to clean water supplies, wildfire resilience, wildlife habitat and outdoor recreation.

Join the LA Town Hall on May 18th to make your voice heard. Come and learn more about the Roadless Rule, how it helps protect our public lands, and provide public comment (spoken or written).

Click the link in our bio to RSVP!

Today, May 2, 2026 we celebrate the second anniversary of the expansion of the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument!

Thanks to the efforts of Tribal leaders, community organizers, public officials, and community members, then President Biden expanded the National Monument in 2024 by 105,919 acres, ensuring that these public lands are protected for future generations to experience.

Our journey protecting these mountains is far from over. Especially given the 2025 catastrophic wildfires and attacks on public lands and the people that protect them by the current administration, safeguarding our national monuments is crucial.

As public lands continue to be attacked, we continue to work with our partners to defend them. National Monuments help protect public lands and their important history, native plants and animals. Read more from our coalition and partners about why we all should commit to safeguarding these public lands.

Join us in asking for the protection and adequate funds and resources for the San Gabriel Mountains National Monument! Sign the petition linked in our bio.
