What a beautiful day for a PTO Bike Rodeo! Around 300 kids from the Forest Lane Elementary school and CALA learned about bike safety and enjoyed going through a bike obstacle course. The obstacles included the circle eight, straight line balance, weaving between cones, sharp turns, rumble strips, crossing a street, looking back for cars, and the kids favorite- racing a cop on a tricycle!

Thank you to our generous community members for donating bikes and prizes for all the kids: Gar Plastics, Piers Plus, Jan & Colleen Mink, Gordon Bentley, Henry Prouty, Hoffmann Tree Service, and Rendezvous Paddle & Sports

This event wouldn’t be possible without all of our amazing volunteers! The Marquette County Sheriff's Department, EMS, Fire Department, UW Extension, and community and parent volunteers all helped make this event a success. A big thank you to Titus Linebaugh and Rob Larson for giving the kids’ bikes tune ups and making sure they are road worthy! Thank you also to Chad Marshall and Kyle Prouty for setting up the course.

Parent teacher conferences are in two weeks. Let's show the teachers we appreciate all their hard work by making sure they are well fed! Sign up to bring in side dishes for the their dinner on Thursday, March 5th using the SignUp Genius link below. Please have all dishes, etc., to the Welcome Center (Door 10) by 3pm.

It's time for spring conferences! The school will provide sandwiches and we will be filling in with salads, side dishes and desserts.
