SchurrNews Yearbook Photographer of the Week is Jonathan Serrano who got photos EVERYWHERE. Whether running at a Cross Country meet, enjoying USB’s games at pep rallies, or checking out clubs at Club Rush, Jonathan captured Spartans all over. Jonathan will get a surprise at the next class meeting, and will keep taking action pics of students all year that might be used in the book. 2027 yearbooks go on sale this week for $80 through November 20 at BuyTheYearbook.com. This is lowest price books will be all year.

Girls water polo players celebrated their CIF-SS Division 4 Championship season with a ring ceremony where they opened their ring boxes all together with their families and friends.

Five Class of 2026 Engineering and Design Pathway graduates received $1,000 each for their Montebello Bus Lines Wayfinding Project at tonight’s Montebello City Council meeting. The coordinator at MBL, John Soria, secured scholarships for Daniel Bermudez, Duong Lam, Mason Louie, Jacob Padilla and Zander Vanegas.
