In an effort to raise feminist consciousness on campus we draw upon the resources and interests of Montclair State University’s diverse student population as well as our surrounding community o

rganizations. One immediate goal of our organization is to encourage students to become activists on campus and off campus. Our primary goal, however, is to reach those who are either apathetic or hostile towards the feminist movement in an accessible format that makes feminist activism realistic and welcoming to all. As the only self-identified feminist group at MSU, we will also hold weekly feminist discussion groups every Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the School of Business 311 during the Fall 2017 semester. We welcome all students at these meetings, and look forward to fostering a vibrant, supportive safe space for individuals to voice their political and personal opinions. Join us for an easy dose of political activism, film screenings, book recommendations, support groups, self-love events and more!

JCPenney is staying open after hours just for Montclair State students and their friends/family (normal closing at 7:30 p.m.)! You'll have the opportunity to shop everything you need to finish your professional look for that next career fair, interview and job! There will also be raffles every hour, free mini makeovers and hair touch ups! Event open to current students and first year alumni.
