Waterwise Community Center We are a public agency whose goal is the protection of the Chino Groundwater Basin. We look forward to seeing you!

The District’s commitment to conservation is two-pronged:

--Provide water conservation education to diminish demands on the area’s water supply: The District’s educational approach addresses individuals, school districts, organizations, and municipalities within its service area. The District’s Water Conservation Center is a unique resource for the area with dedicated classroom space and a Demons

tration Garden with real-life examples of Water Wise Landscaping best practices.

--Utilize percolation basins and spreading grounds to increase the area’s water supply: The use of percolation basins and spreading grounds to replenish the Chino Basin Aquifer has made the District one of the first agencies in California to take a pro-active role in region-wide water conservation. The District provides many resources to help you on your own conservation journey. You will find them outlined in these pages here and you can also come visit us at our Water Conservation Center and Water Wise Demonstration Garden to learn more about how you can conserve water.

Have a Happy Labor Day!

The Waterwise Community Center, public park & Demonstration Garden will continued to be closed due to ongoing construction. Progress is still being made on the new amphitheater and we will continue to give updates on construction and our reopening.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATE ❗️

Today, a crane arrived at the Waterwise Community Center. Using it, construction workers installed several support beams for the roof of our new amphitheater.

The entire Waterwise Community Center site will remain closed while work continues on this project.

Designing your landscape can be daunting... but luckily, we're here to help!

In this workshop, we will explore a new and approachable way to develop designs for beautiful, productive, habitat rich, and maintainable landscape projects. Whether you plan to do the work yourself or work with a contractor, we'll help you come up with a clear vision for your outdoor spaces!

Join us at the Waterwise Community Center on Saturday, August 22nd from 9 am to 12 pm for a FREE workshop where we will learn design principles that you can use on your own landscape, no matter the space or style.

🌱 Each participant will also be able to select a native wildflower seed packet of their choice to take home. 🌱

🌻 Stay after our workshop and enter a raffle to win some of our favorite waterwise California native plants. Then, visit our Waterwise Community Nursery to check out what else we have in stock! 🌻
