Just a heads up

Starting tomorrow 5/19-5/22, North Leverett Rd will be closed between West Chestnut and Chestnut Hill from 7am-2pm daily. The Chestnut Loop can be used as a detour or Cave Hill and Jackson Hill from Rt 63. The Highway Department will be replacing culverts before paving later this spring.

Tonight joint train on a donated house. Thank you for Turner’s Falls, fire department, and Erving fire department for taking advantage with us. And thank you to the resident who donated their home that allows us to learn many skills.

At approximately 5 PM Montague Center was dispatched to a brushfire. Mutual aid was added quickly to a first alarm. High winds and dry conditions pushed the fire quickly. Crew’s extinguished the brushfire and protected structures.
