Notice of Annual Verification of Voter List
New Hampshire law requires the Supervisors of the Checklist to verify the checklist every year. (RSA 654:39)
- Any person on the checklist who has not voted in the past five years must re-register to remain on the checklist.
- Voters who registered before 11/05/2024 and have not voted yet must re-register to remain on the checklist.
The supervisors are sending notice letters to these voters at the address the voter provided when registering. Letters will be mailed after the first posted meeting. A second posted meeting will be held at least 30 days after the letters are mailed.
If these voters have not re-registered at the town clerk's office or at the second meeting, they will be removed from the voter checklist. The second meeting will be posted at a later date.
First meeting to register new voters, make corrections and prepare letters
WHEN: Friday June 19, 2026 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
WHERE: Mont Vernon Fire Station, 1 Main Street, meeting room
Please bring Id, proof of citizenship, and proof of Mont Vernon residency.
NH REAL ID is not proof of citizenship.
You can also register to vote at the Town Clerk’s office during their open hours.
