The station is staffed around the clock with a minimum staff of two firefighter/paramedics. The business office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to Noon on Friday. After business hours du

ring the week and on weekends, the duty crew may be out of the building on emergency calls. If you need to talk to someone and the station is vacant, contact Monson Central Dispatch at 413-267-4128 option 0, and ask for the duty officer to call you. For more information visit our Website at:

Glad to see Monson police at the cultural picnic today. I had to stop by after going to the Lions club family festival and the girls soccer car wash where I did not see them. We also had a member stop by the Library book sale. Rumor has it they had an early voting box up at the cultural picnic for the upcoming public safety night out being held October 17th.

Update: the picture is of Main Street. We just brought the engine to Easthill and had to wait for people to come move their cars on the back roads to get there.

Tomorrow is a busy day please use caution on the roads.

Events happening: town wide tag sale, the cultural picnic on veterans field, the lions club family festival at Westview farms and the library book sale.

Helpful advice from us first responders:

Attempt to park as far off the road as possible and on the same side of the road as the tag sale you are attending. Every year we end up coming upon a pinch point where people park on both sides of the road and make it difficult for emergency vehicles to pass through.

Don’t dart out into the roadway especially from in between vehicles. Other drivers may be distracted by all the great deals and not see you. Look both ways. Wear bright highly visible clothing.

We hope everyone attends one or all of these events throughout the day tomorrow.

On her first outing in a long time the Seagrave won photographers choice today at the 2026 Antique Fire Truck Show hosted by the Massachusetts Antique Fire Apparatus Association. More photos to come, but we are so excited to have these trucks up and running and out in the world again!

A big thank you to C.R. Levesque Trucking for trailering the truck to Marlboro today, we would not have been able to get there without your help!

the road is still closed. Barricades will remain in the road until national grid can clear the hazard. Please do not drive around them.
