A delivery truck ended up stuck on a rock ledge today - - but nothing our volunteers couldn't handle. Chaverim of Rockland responded within minutes and safely guided the vehicle out.

Early this morning, our highly trained Search & Rescue teams were dispatched to assist an injured hiker at Harriman State Park. NYS Forest Rangers and NYS Park Police were notified and responded to the scene as well. The hiker had slipped on ice, fracturing an ankle and enduring excruciating pain while sitting on a sheet of ice for an extended period. Our teams acted swiftly, stabilizing the injury, warming the individual, and carefully securing them for transport using our specialized hiking stretcher. Rockland Hatzolah was called to the scene and transported the injured hiker for further medical care.
