🚗 MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS NEEDED - Thursdays & Fridays 🚗

We are looking for permanent, weekly volunteer drivers for Thursday and Friday mornings. We need dedicated drivers who can commit to the same day every week to deliver meals to our seniors.

Details:
📍 Pick-up: Henrietta's Leven Oaks on Myrtle at 8:00 AM
🏠 Delivery: Deliver meals directly to seniors' homes
⏰ Deliveries must be completed before 12:00 PM for lunch
✅ Once your last meal is delivered, you are done for the day — no need to return to a location

Requirements:
• Must be able to commit weekly to Thursday and/or Friday
• Must have your own reliable transportation
• Must have proof of insurance
• Dependable, punctual, and kind-hearted

Our seniors count on us, and we count on our drivers. If you are lookinh to help our community every week, we would love to have you join our team!

One day can change everything. 💛

Make a Difference Day is the largest national day of community service held every year on the fourth Saturday in October. This year, Saturday, Oct. 24th, millions of people come together to serve.

As we prepare to for our 36th Annual Make a Difference Day, we are looking for sponsors to help make it happen.

Your sponsorship, big or small, directly funds supplies, food, and resources that let us show up for our neighbors who need it most.

This week we are honored to celebrate our incredible Meals on Wheels Volunteers!

Every single week, rain or shine, this amazing group packs and delivers meals to our homebound seniors. But they deliver so much more than a meal — they deliver a friendly face, a warm conversation, and vital support to our neighbors who need it most.

Their kindness, consistency, and compassion is what makes Monrovia so special. We are beyond grateful for everything they do for our community.

It's time to celebrate our HONOREES! ✨

Leading up to Make a Difference Day, we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals and groups who go above and beyond for Monrovia all year long.

Our first honoree is Boy Scout Troop 66!

Troop 66 are regular volunteers for Make a Difference Day, always showing up ready to work hard and make a difference. But their service doesn't stop there, you'll also find them volunteering at other beloved community events like Monrovia Days and Veterans Day, plus giving back through their Eagle Scout projects that leave a lasting impact on our city.

We are so grateful for their dedication, leadership, and commitment to service. Monrovia is better because of Troop 66!
