We know what you're thinking...

"Didn't we just get out of school?"

Yes. Yes, we did.

But while everyone else is enjoying summer break, we're already counting instructional minutes, scheduling holidays, and reminding everyone that August is closer than we'd like to admit.

The official 2026–2027 Monroe County High School calendar is now available! Take a look so you can start planning vacations, doctor's appointments, and mentally preparing for those alarm clocks to make their annual comeback.

And just like that… the tassels turned, the caps flew, and the Monroe County High School Class of 2026 became graduates! 🎉

On May 19th, we celebrated a remarkable group of students who have left their mark on MCHS in countless ways. From Friday night lights to academic milestones and unforgettable memories in the hallways, the Class of 2026 brought heart to every chapter of their high school journey.

This class has grown through challenges, celebrated victories, and created memories that will forever be part of the Monroe County High School story. While we’ll miss their presence on campus, we are incredibly excited to see where life takes each of them next.

Congratulations, graduates! Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning.
