Your library card gets you way more than just books!

We have a Library of Things, and you can borrow all kinds of things like Hotspots, Roku streaming boxes, sewing machines, a screwdriver or wrench set, a heat press machine, and so much more.

You can help us offer more borrowing options! Any donation made during September, Love Your Library month, is part of a prorated match from the Jack Buncher Foundation, meaning your gift goes further!

Are you going through your things? We want your books!

We are looking for books of all kinds: bestsellers, children's books, paperbacks, etc. We are also looking for puzzles, games, DVDs, and music CDs. We're looking for these for our upcoming Love Your Library book sale! We can take them when we're open, and while we take donations all year round, please bring donations for the book sale in by Wednesday, September 16th.

For the book sale, a bag is $15, and you fill it up as much as you possibly can. The sale runs this Friday and Saturday, September 18th and 19th, from 10 AM - 3 PM.

Plum EMS's car seat safety check is happening next Saturday, September 19th. The event is free, but appointments are required! There are only a few spots left.

Artist Sayeed A. Syed is featured in the Elaine Biondi Gallery Space this month! Everyone is invited to the reception this Saturday, September 5th, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.

Making weekend plans? We hope you add a visit to the Monroeville Public Library on Saturday, September 5th from 6-8pm for the Artist Reception: Sayeed A. Syed. Everyone is welcome to come meet the artist for this month's exhibit, Layers of Identity, in the Elaine Biondi Gallery Space. Come see his extraordinary work and find an original piece or print to purchase. We hope to see you there!

Thank you to the Friends of the Monroeville Public Library for starting this new free library! It's located at Monroeville Park near the Book Walk, and features copies of the Book Walk book.
