It is with great sadness that I share the passing of Angel Gorney former Alumnus of the Turtle Creek Caballero's. Angel was a member and also the daughter of former assistant director Ed Gorney. Angel was also a marching mom when her daughter Sarah was in the corp. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Just received word that David Peters has gained his wings. David was a very passionate person who loved performing. He was my instructor when I marched with Caballero's. Through the years I would see him at Band Festivals and competitions, Winterguard shows, and parades. David loved twirling and shared his passion with others. Many of us who participated in the alumni group got to see David at Kennywood and also the Saint Patricks Day parade as well as the Turtle Creek Parade. After the passing of John Jr David and I got the items from the house to continue the Caballeros alumni group. David I know you are no longer suffering and free from the physical and emotional pain.
He's probably already performing in heaven.

Hi family & Friends of The Caballeros Alumni... as of today January 27th 2021.. I have placed Biggs Bob Conroy and Theresa Sekely as Directors until further notice.. as much that you all know I am going in for major disc surgery in March of 2021 and my summer activities are all on hold ... I'm pretty sure my two fellow members who I have faith and trust in will do a Terrific job.. until the info on contacts is updated ..please reach out to those two for inquiries...love you all David W Peter
