🏠 A Fresh Look Around the Station! 🚒

We’d like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Lowe’s and PPG Paints in Monroeville for their generous donations that helped us give several areas of our station a much-needed refresh!

🎨 PPG Paints generously donated the paint used to give our day room a fresh, clean new look.

🔨 Lowe’s donated new flooring for our day room, as well as new cabinetry that will provide much-needed storage and organization for our EMS supplies.

We also want to give a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who donated their time and hard work to complete these projects. From painting and installing flooring to assembling cabinets and everything in between, these improvements were truly a team effort.

Our station is more than just where our apparatus is kept, it’s a second home for our volunteers and a space that needs to remain functional and ready to support our crews and the community we serve.

Support from businesses like Lowe’s and PPG Paints, combined with the dedication of our own members, makes projects like these possible while allowing us to dedicate our resources where they matter most.

Thank you to Lowe’s, PPG Paints, and all of our volunteers for helping make Station 1 a little better!

192 Truck and 192 Squad are back in station after a great evening participating in the Pitcairn Fireman’s Parade and supporting their annual carnival!

We’re also proud to announce that 192 Squad brought home a trophy for Best Appearing Squad/Utility! 🏆

Events like these are about more than just showing off the trucks, they’re an opportunity to build relationships with our neighboring fire departments, strengthen the fire service community, and show our support for the departments that stand beside us when the tones drop.

Throughout the evening, we also ran 2 calls for an odor of natural gas inside a structure, and a possible commercial structure fire which was unfounded.

Thank you to our friends in Pitcairn for having us! We’re always proud to support our neighboring departments and communities.
