The Origin Bank Family Garden is more than a garden — it is a gift that keeps giving. Thanks to Origin Bank, children and families in our community are learning about healthy choices, teamwork, nature, responsibility, and the joy of watching something grow.

The lessons planted here will continue to bloom for years to come, creating a lasting impact on young minds and future generations.

🌱 Teamwork Makes It Grow! 🌱

One of the greatest things young people can learn is how to work together, encourage one another, and grow as a team — and we got to see that firsthand during yesterday’s visit from the Morehouse Parish School Board 21st Century Community Learning Summer Program!

Thanks to Origin Bank, these elementary students explored the Origin Bank Family Garden while learning about bees, how strawberries grow, proper watering techniques, and discovering more than 20 different plants growing in the garden.

The laughter, teamwork, curiosity, and excitement were just as beautiful as the garden itself. 💚 A special thank you to the amazing Origin Bank volunteers who helped pave the way and make these hands-on learning experiences possible for children in our community.

Together, we’re growing more than gardens — we’re growing future leaders. 🌻

🌱 Today was a wonderful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for children.

Students from the Morehouse Parish 21st Century Community Learning Program spent the day exploring the Origin Bank Family Garden, where they learned how plants grow, the many ways plants benefit our lives, and why healthy soil is so important. Thanks to the expertise of the LSU AgCenter and volunteers from Origin Bank, these young learners experienced hands-on lessons that brought science, nutrition, and nature to life.

Support from partners like Origin Bank makes opportunities like this possible. Their investment helps us create spaces where children can learn, explore, and develop skills that will benefit them for years to come. From understanding where food comes from to building healthy habits and a love for learning, the impact of the garden extends far beyond the harvest.

Together, we’re growing stronger children, healthier families, and a brighter future for Northeast Louisiana.

REMINDER RIBBON CUTTING, 6/10/26!

🌱 The younger the child, the bigger the opportunity to grow. 🌱

At the Origin Bank Family Garden, children aren’t just planting vegetables and strawberries — they’re planting knowledge, confidence, curiosity, and healthy habits that can last a lifetime.

Hands-on learning is one of the most powerful ways a child’s brain develops. As a garden grows with sunshine, water, and care, a child’s mind grows through experiences, exploration, and discovery.

Thanks to Origin Bank, children in our community have a place where learning comes alive one seed, one lesson, and one tiny hand at a time. 💚

We can't wait to see you at tomorrow's Ribbon Cutting on 6/10/26 at 2:00 pm, 117 Hall Street, Monroe, LA! Come see our garden!

🍓 Tiny Seeds. Big Lessons. 🌱

This year, we planted strawberries in the Origin Bank Family Garden, and we can’t wait to teach children how they grow, why fresh foods matter, and how healthy choices help our bodies thrive!

Thanks to the incredible support of Origin Bank, the garden is becoming a hands-on classroom filled with learning, curiosity, and opportunities for children to connect with healthy foods in a meaningful way.

From garden beds to growing minds, Origin Bank is helping grow the future one strawberry at a time. ❤️🍓🌿
