We have an update for one of our Summer Reading Challenge performers, Cargaret Clauder. Please take a look at our updated schedule to see where in Ouachita Parish you will be able to catch her show, “The Colorful World of Mother Nature.” Known as an international performer with her uniquely costumed ventriloquism, Margaret’s programs incorporate fabulous puppets for kid friendly magic along with clownish slapstick comedy. Her show will delight audiences of all ages, but especially the elementary age crowd.

😍We have a performer update for LadyChops part of our special events the Summer Reading Challenge 2026.

⚠️Tomorrow, Thursday, June 11th, Lady Chops will be at the Carver-McDonald Branch form 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. She will not be performing at the Main branch.

Elizabeth Vidos, also known as LadyChops, is a one woman drumming sensation who has wowed audiences across the country—including performances with the hit show STOMP! With a dazzling mix of rhythm, energy, and creativity, LadyChops brings drumming to life using buckets, body percussion, and more. This high-energy event will have everyone tapping along to the beat.
