It’s parade day and we are up early making sure everything is ready. Reminder, the parade will start at 2pm sharp. There will be road closures in the village. It will be a great day for a parade in the historic downtown area in the Village of Monroe! We look forward in seeing everyone along the parade route!

We are finishing the final touches as are heading into the homestretch of Parade week 2025. We will be stepping off at 2pm sharp tomorrow afternoon. We can’t wait to see you all along the parade route as we enter Monroe’s historic downtown village.

As parade day is approaching quickly. Here is a few reminders about the lineups and parade information. We will be lining up at 1pm and stepping off at 2pm sharp. We can’t wait until tomorrow to see everyone along the parade route!!

The Washingtonville Fire Department is hosting the 2026 Orange County volunteer firefighters Association parade. We are hosting a raffle for a N5A New Yorker leather helmet. Helmet can be shipped nationwide and is customizable for size and color. Tickets are $20 each. You can click the link in the comments or text MonellN5A to 33100.

This morning you may have noticed some traffic on 17M in the village. Orange County Fire Depts took part in a Flag Raising Ceremony.

The traditional memorial service is hosted annually by the department hosting the annual OCVFA parade. It honors all the firefighters in Orange County that passed in the last year

Washingtonville Fire Department cooked an excellent breakfast repast afterwards.

We thank everyone in attendance for remembering our brothers and sisters. We thank our neighbors for their patience through the traffic.
