Union County Board of Elections The Union County Board of Elections provides residents of Union County with the opportunity to vote.

The Union County Board of Elections is committed to conducting efficient, accurate, fair, honest and impartial elections at a minimum cost to the electorate. The Elections Office is responsible for conducting all elections in Union County, including municipal, county, state and federal elections, as well as special referenda. ter file, maximizing voter registration, voter turnout and keeping the voting public informed to ensure that all qualified citizens in Union County may exercise their right to vote.

Candidate filing for Union County Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor (2 seats) begins at noon on Monday, June 8 and ends on Monday, July 6 at 5 p.m. Interested individuals will file at the Union County Board of Elections, 316-B East Windsor Street, Monroe NC 28112.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, a registered voter in Union County, and pay a $5 filing fee. The seat is nonpartisan, so no primary is required. Candidates whose notices of candidacy are accepted will be on the ballot for the Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor contest in the general election on November 3.
