The Union County Board of Elections is committed to conducting efficient, accurate, fair, honest and impartial elections at a minimum cost to the electorate. The Elections Office is responsible for conducting all elections in Union County, including municipal, county, state and federal elections, as well as special referenda. Are you registered to vote in Union County? On National Voter Registration Day (Tuesday, Sept. 15), our office is making it easier than ever to get you ready for the next election. If you aren't registered yet, come see us! Our employees will be stationed at the Marshville, Indian Trail, Monroe and Waxhaw libraries from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. to help you register to vote. Information on how you can become an essential part of our democracy as an election worker will also be available. Mark your calendar, stop by, and make your voice heard.

Today marks 25 years since the world changed forever. On this milestone Patriot Day, we pause to honor the 2,977 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the unimaginable bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger, and we stand in continued solidarity with the families who carry the weight of that day every single day. A quarter of a century later, we promise to never forget. May we continue to find strength in unity and hope in our shared humanity.

They will be at Unionville's Heritage Festival (at Unionville Elementary School) from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. and at Rock The Trail at Crossing Paths Park (120 Blythe Dr. in Indian Trail) from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. Stop by and register to vote, find out how you can become an election worker, learn more about this Fall's mid-term elections, and more.
