On 6/20/26, (D Platoon) Monroe Twp Tower 57 and Ladder 23 responded into East Windsor for a Commercial Structure Fire. Tower 57s crew opened up and assisted with suppression. Ladder 23s crew went to the roof with Tower 57 chauffeur to assist crews already operating on the roof and provided secondary means of egress.

6/11/26 Early this morning Monroe Twp Squad 57 was dispatched for the reported Commercial Vehicle Fire. With confirmed fire in the rear of trash truck, Squad 57 added Ladder 23 to the ticket. Squad 57 arrived and went into service with a 2" attack line extinguishing what was left in the trash truck before extinguishing the garbage that was dumped. Do to the nature of this call Middlesex County Hazmat was added. Monroe Twp DPW assisted in the overhaul process.

Local 3170 Members participated in the New Jersey Firefighters PFANJ inaugural Sporting Clays Fundraiser held at Red Wing Sporting Clays in Port Republic. This was a successful event headed up by one of our very own members, FF Brian Yockman.

Day 1 of the PFANJ convention is complete and we would like to congratulate all of the members elected to the Executive Board! Local 3170 was well represented today with FF Brian Yockman ( Monroe Township Fire District #2 ) being elected to State Secretary and Captain Jim Hannon ( Monroe Twp Fire District #3 ) being elected to Vice President of State District 2. Many other members from our local were present as well.
