🌟 Leadership in Action at MMS!

Our WEB (Where Everyone Belongs) Leaders stepped up in a big way on the first day of school! These amazing 8th graders welcomed our incoming 6th grade students, helped them find their way, and showed what it means to lead with kindness and school spirit.

It was a great start to the day at MHS!!!

Traffic was much improved on campus this morning. The picture on the left shows traffic on campus at 7:50 AM and the one on the right shows an empty drive at 7:59 AM. Thanks to everyone for following the plan!

Next up, afternoon pick up. Please remember that only school buses are to use the long drive off of 31st Avenue after school. This allows the buses to get in order for the student transition point. All parents and students are asked to enter and exit on Cheesemaker Drive after school until 4:00 PM.

Learning a new routine can be challenging, but we are making great progress. We will continue to monitor the process and communicate any necessary adjustments. Thanks to everyone for your cooperation.

We were honored to welcome Governor Tony Evers to the new Monroe High School this morning!

During his visit, Governor Evers had the opportunity to tour several areas of our new school and spend meaningful time interacting with our students and staff. His visit included stops in Mr. Saunders’ Welding Lab, the LAUNCH Program with Ms. Douglas and Ms. Roberts, and Mr. Mathiason’s homeroom, where he had the opportunity to connect directly with students and learn more about their experiences.

It was an incredible morning, and we are grateful that Governor Evers took the time to visit Monroe High School and connect with the students and staff who make our school such a special place.

Thank you, Governor Evers, for spending part of your day with the Cheesemakers!
