🥞 Join Us for Breakfast on the Square! ☕️

The Monroe Old Settlers Committee will be serving breakfast on Sunday, September 20 starting at 7:00. Church Service on the Square starts at 10:00. Come enjoy a delicious breakfast, spend some time with the community, and support Old Settlers.

🍳 Breakfast will be provided for a free-will donation.

Something fun is coming to Monroe! 💃

The Friends of the Monroe Public Library are working on the details for their next fundraiser supporting the library expansion project!

We’ll have a line dancing lesson where you can come learn some moves, followed by a separate evening dance where you can put those new skills to work!

Music, dancing, food, friends and a fun night out — all while helping support the future of our library.

We’re still putting the finishing touches on everything, but we wanted to give you a little sneak peek…

Lights, sirens, and water fights after dark!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 10th as the Monroe Fire Department presents the ORIGINAL Lights and the Fights, part of the 25th Annual Fire Prevention Parade! Enjoy food and music on the square, a spectacular lighted parade through Monroe, and stick around for water fights under the lights. It’s going to be a fun night in Monroe!
