All Union County Library locations will be closed on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day. As a reminder, book drops are closed when the library is closed but no items are due and no fines or fees are charged.

Tiny canvases, colorful fall creations! Celebrate the season by creating a tiny fall-inspired masterpiece! Young artists will paint autumn-themed designs on miniature canvases, give their artwork a title, and have it featured in the library's Tiny Art Show. Families are invited to return to celebrate the artists and enjoy the exhibit in the children's area together for two weeks after the event. Friday, September 11 at 3 p.m. at Edwards Memorial Library. For grades K-5.

Due to an air conditioning outage, the Southwest Library in Waxhaw will be closing at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 5. All other library locations will remain open until 5 p.m. As a reminder, all library locations will be closed on Monday, September 7 for Labor Day.
