The City of Monroe is an incorporated city in Snohomish County, Washington and is located where the Skykomish and Snoqualmie rivers meet the Snohomish River near the Cascade Mountain foothills. Comments posted to this page will be monitored. Under City policy, and to the fullest extent allowed by law, the City of Monroe expressly reserves the right to hide, filter, and/or delete the following comments:

• Personal attacks, ad hominem comments, insults, or threatening language.

Congratulations to the Monroe High School Monroe, WA Class of 2026!

Let’s come together and line the streets of West Main Street to cheer on the Monroe High Schools class of 2026. Graduates will be traveling in a moving car parade from Fryelands Elementary beginning at 6 p.m. and ending at Frank Wagner Elementary.

A big thank you to Rotary Club of Monroe Washington for its generous $1,000 contribution to the downtown planter program becoming the Premier Sponsor of this effort.

The donation enabled the Monroe Garden Club to plant all 31 downtown planters with more than 340 plants, helping bring vibrant color and beauty to the community throughout the season.
