For years now, Helping Hands Thrift Store has been an invaluable community partner for TTNS. Through their generous gift card program (which they also provide to the Monroe School District!), they provide those we serve with essential clothing and household items.

They are an incredible community partner that continually gives back and supports those in need. We are deeply grateful for their ongoing commitment, kindness, and the positive impact they make in our community. We truly cannot thank them enough for all that they do!

They also just dropped off some beautiful flowers for us - sometimes it's also the little things!

Our Outreach Program delivers basic resources directly to unhoused individuals, like "Stacy", who urgently needs foot surgery but faces barriers accessing specialist care. Stacy has health insurance. As you can see she has a very serious medical concern with her foot. She has been to the local clinic and emergency room a couple of times each, but still cannot find a specialist who is willing to see her. It has been weeks now and it is harder and more painful for Stacy to move every day.

This is why we believe our Outreach Program is so important. We can help navigate these systemic healthcare hurdles by providing basic resources without her having to travel. There are dozens of stories like Stacy's and we hope to continue to go where they are and help them take the next step into a better life.

This month's theme at Kidz Club is Medical Access! Last week we had Eva Wangia, a Nursing Teacher from Everett Community College join us to talk to the kids about the importance of going to the doctor regularly - every year- for checkups. Preventative & maintenance care is essential to maintaining good health!

You can come see Eva tonight as well for our Dinners and Docs partnership. Tonight, Wed May 27 from 5:30-7:30pm we will have our medical team ready to answer questions or help you out, in conjunction with our free Community Dinner program (from 6-7pm)! 202 S. Sam's St, Monroe.

We'll see you there!

3 Weeks Away!!

Please join us for an intimate brunch fundraiser!

Together at the Table: Sharing our Sacred Stories will be an intimate brunch, focused on sharing the impactful stories that come from our work supporting the most vulnerable families and individuals in Sky Valley.

You'll get to hear directly from our program participants, volunteers, Board of Directors, and staff, the stories that impacted us most, from the last year and our 20 year history of walking alongside our struggling neighbors.

We'll share some savory breakfast items, sweets from Mrs. Quadri’s Bakery, and mimosas!

Please join us to support this impactful work, ensuring it continues into the future!

This month we had the privilege of celebrating our incredible Growing Together Teen Moms for Mother's Day. We reached out to our community to see if anyone else wanted to help support these young women and we received a ton of support!

Thanks to our generous community, we celebrated with a wonderful meal, crafts, and beautiful gift baskets filled with self-care items and handmade gifts. Being a mom is one of the hardest and most important jobs there is, so having the community show up to support you is huge.

Thank you to everyone who donated to show these amazing mamas that we see you, believe in you, and are cheering you on! 💛

We are currently seeking donations for our Sports & Activities Scholarship Program!

Can you, your business, church, or local organization help support local children by contributing to these funds?

100% of all donations are pass-through funds. We do not take any percentage to pay staff or administrative costs — every dollar goes directly back out the door to help children gain access to sports, extracurricular activities, and opportunities they may not otherwise have.

To donate, please visit:
https://www.ttns.org/donate/

Please leave a note that your donation is for “Sports & Activities Scholarships.”
