Our 5th grade students are diving into literacy and strengthening their writing skills! 📚✏️

This unit, students are reading The Birchbark House and using evidence from the text to organize their thinking through Single Paragraph Outlines (SPOs). This process is helping students develop stronger ideas, identify important details, and build well-organized paragraphs before they begin writing.

We are excited to see our students making connections between reading and writing while growing as confident readers, thinkers, and writers.
